Natural Formosa: An Interactive Guide and Journal Editor for Taiwan Natural Environment app for iPhone and iPad

In Portuguese, the term "Formosa" means "Beautiful island". The beautiful island of East Asia in western Pacific Ocean is located off the southeastern coast of mainland China. Currently, the island is called "Taiwan".

You might know most parts of high-tech. electronic devices come from Taiwan, but you might not know there are also plenty of natural resources on the island.

This application can help you:

* To view the photo gallery of the beautiful scenes
* To listen the oral introduction of different species
* To create your own natural journal books with an easy editor
* To present every journal book through projector on the classroom

The goal of this applications experimental pieces is to spread popular science education, to promote scientific knowledge nationally, to reveal the high standard of Taiwanese scientific research and its applied results, to introduce the scientists hard at work year-round in Taiwans jungles and oceans, and to experiment with the combination of science education and modern digital media.
